Total Gym Cable This cable fits all Total Gym models! Made from aircraft grade, 7×19, nylon coated, galvanized steel cable. This is the top of the line cable build for flexibility and robustness. This original Total Gym cable is made of 7×7 vinyl coated cable. The 19 wires that make up the cable 7×19 cable are a smaller diameter and are therefore less rigid than the 7 wires that make up the 7×7 cable. That makes the 7×19 cable more flexible than the 7×7 cable and therefor more robust to flexing around the pulleys. The other upgrade you will get with this cable is in the coating. The original vinyl coating seen on the 7×7 cable is not as capable to stand up to the constant flexing around the pulleys. This makes the nylon coating a more robust option for all Total Gym models.<\/p>\n
